    I've created a grapical user interface for the command line program FriiDump.

    Comments and suggestions are welcome, but please write in english if possible because I have a hard time reading italian :)

    Usage
    ==================================================
    This is pretty straightforward:
    - Start FriiDumpGui
    - Set the path to FriiDump.exe
    - Select your Wii-disc compatible DVD drive (LG GDR-8161B, LG GDR-8162B, LG GDR-8163B and LG GDR-8164B)
    - Set dumping method (4 = default and fastest)
    - Set output filename
    - Press 'Start'

    After the dumping process has started you can stop it by pressing the 'Cancel' button. If you want to resume an incomplete dump, check the appropriate checkbox, choose the incomplete output file and press 'Start' again.

    The button 'Disc Info' shows information about the Wii disc that is currently
    in the drive.

    Technical information

    FriiDumpGui was written in VB.Net, which means it requires the Microsoft .Net framework (2.0 or above). For obvious reasons, it also needs FriiDump.exe. I've tested with FriiDump 0.4.0, which is also included in this package.
    It doesn't write anything to the registry or to anyplace outside it's own directory. The settings are stored in FriiDumpGui.ini in the application folder.

    The error handling is not that good, e.g. if you choose an incompatible dvd drive as source. Maybe I'll improve this in the future.

    Please note that FriiDumpGui is basically only a "wrapper" around the original FriiDump application. This means that every dvd rom drive that used to work with FriiDump will work with FriiDumpGui too, of course.

    I only wrote down the LG drives because they were
    - the first working drives and
    - they were the only ones mentioned in the original FriiDump readme file.

    MASTiCORE: Ottimo lavoro! Peccato che sia in VB, e quindi non portabile :/. Sai se può funzionare su Linux con Mono?

    Sarebbe possibile avere un elenco degli altri drive supportati da Friidump (in modo non ufficiale)?

    EDIT: Ho notato solo ora che il programma non è opensource/free :(.

    I've translated your posting with Google, so I'm not sure if I understood everything correctly.

    Sorry, I neither have Linux nor the knowledge to test this. But maybe somebody else can?

    I don't have such a list but I'm sure others in this forum can help.

    It's not free, it's frii :D

    No, seriously, I don't want to give out the sourcecode without commenting and cleaning up in advance. But it doesn't contain any rocket science. The main thing is catching the stderr/stdout output, the rest is basically only graphically putting together the command line parameters.
