Nuovo Aggiornamento XBOX360 in mattinata

Arriva finalmente il tanto atteso aggiornamento della dashboard di Xbox 360. Da oggi 31 ottobre alle 11.00, connettendo la propria console a Xbox Live, verrà automaticamente scaricato l'aggiornamento di fine 2006 della console di Microsoft.
Tra gli 85 aggiornamenti spiccano il supporto della risoluzione 1080p per godere appieno dell'alta definizione, la visualizzazione dei video Windows Media tramite Windows Media Player 11 e Windows Media Connect e i files video presenti su CD, DVD, chiavette USB 2.0 o sulle memory card della console.
La console Microsoft supporterà inoltre la visualizzazione a 50Hz delle TV ad alta definizione, il nuovo lettore HD-DVD e il volante Wireless in uscita nei prossimi mesi. E' stata aggiunta una funzionalità di auto-download dei nuovi Xbox Live Arcade appena usciti, il supporto al download dei giochi sviluppati con XNA Studio Express e l'integrazione con il nuovo lettore multimediale portatile Zune di Microsoft.
Tantissime anche le migliorie apportate a funzioni già esistenti della console che permettono di impostare il controllo familiare non solo ai giochi ma estenderlo anche a film su DVD, HD-DVD o file video, così come il supporto migliorato alle tastiere USB per navigare all'interno dell'interfaccia utente, la qualità delle immagini della webcam Live Vision e una maggiore velocità di aggiornamento della lista dei titoli Live Arcade disponibili nella vostra Xbox 360.
