I conti si faranno a marzo, con i giochi pesanti in arrivo per ps4

Numeri assurdi di Dying Light, soprattutto in virtù del fatto che è solo DD. Hanno dimostrato che la gente compra lo stesso anche senza il retail e creato un precedente pericoloso. Qua se non abbassano i prezzi del DD ci toccherà comprare i giochi con un mese di ritardo.

PS4, Xbox One Install Base is 60% Higher Than PS3, Xbox 360 Install Base After First 15 Months



The January 2015 NPD results show that the PlayStation 4 has outsold the Xbox One in the US once again. But putting competition aside, the group’s latest report also reveals that both consoles combined are selling remarkable well overall. NPD analyst Liam Callahan said:

“The combined hardware install base of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is close to 60 percent higher than the cumulative hardware totals for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at the same point in their lifecycles (after 15 months).”

Speaking to Polygon, Callahan said that these numbers do consider the different release dates of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. “It adds up the 15-month total for 360 (starting from Nov. 2005) and the 15-month total for PS3 (starting from Nov. 2006),” he explained. We’re also told that total software sales overall have increased by roughly five percent year on year, although current-gen software sales have increased by 74 percent in comparison to last-gen’s software sales decline of 36 percent.

Peripheral sales have also seen a slight increase of three percent as owners of new consoles pick up extra accessories. “Increased accessory spending for eighth generation console – gamepads as well as headphones/headsets – offset any seventh generation console and portable accessory spending declines,” said Callahan.

Io commento! La gen e ormai finita.Amen. E come disse Kennuz, ps4 e più potente quindi venderà di più a prescindere.

Che sculacciate! io ho completamente staccato l'hype per questa gen,solo retrogames e qualche perla per le early.old gen.

Il mercato sembra essere tornato ad avere una direzione ben precisa che,probabilmente, si acuirà ancora di più cone le uscite di The Order e Bloodborne nei prossimi mesi.E non voglio pensare all'uscita di Uncharted... E' plausibile che fino all'uscita di Halo o Gears le vendite saranno queste, se non peggio, in casa Microsoft. Certo, se poi nel breve termine le Dx12 si mostreranno strabilianti (molto difficile) allora qualcosina agli occhi del consumatore potrebbe cambiare...

In December 2014 the gap between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One grew once again in favor of the PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 4 sold 284,108 more units than the Xbox One to bring the total lead to 7.75 million units. The PlayStation 4 has sold 19.05 Million units in 15 months, while the Xbox One has sold 11.30 million units.

This chart is comparing aligned sales for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox combined versus combined sales of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The PS3 and Xbox 360 both had slow starts, while the PS4 and Xbox One both had the two biggest launches in gaming history.

After the gap grew for eight straight months for the 8th generation, the 7th generation shrunk the gap in January 2015. The gap in the latest month shrunk by 582,864 units. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One lead by a combined 11.69 million units.

The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in their first 15 months have sold a combined 18.66 million units, while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One have sold a combined 30.35 million units. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has sold 63 percent more than the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
