    E torniamo sempre li. Perché la scorsa gen non hanno fatto così? Invece sono rimasti su 360.

    Nessuno me lo toglierà dalla testa: ms paga per avere tutto ciò, anzi per abbassare la versione concorrente.

    Ogni volta mi torna in mente quello sviluppatore blizzard e la sua confessione su come si comportano in ms al riguardo: "È INACCETTABILE!!"

    in tutta onesta', una gen cosi' mediocre non me la sarei mai aspettata.
    almeno meta' delle news che leggo su questo sito riportano notizie quantomeno sconfortanti, quelle positive si contano sulle dita di una mano.
  4. Il primo anno è andato così, vediamo poi. "Tutti" volevano la next-gen, ma nessuno era pronto a quanto pare; almeno vendono un sacco le console.

    Beh pure la vecchia gen non è che fosse esente totalmente da problemi eh.Prendi un qualsiasi COD su 360 (ovvero la versione uscita meglio) e prova a vedere cosa succede quando lanci troppe smoke o chiami troppi assalti aerei (vai a 35/40 fps pure li).Oppure Tlou su ps3 che girava anche lui con una media di 27fps...
    Solo che appunto erano hardware del 2005 e uno non si allarmava più di tanto...se succede oggi invece con le nuove console e con i giochi "fail del lancio" la cosa imho è triste assai.

    Si si appunto per quello.. era il 2005 ed erano le prime console in HD diciamo. IL tuo discorso non fa una piega.

    UPDATE 14/11/14 2:52pm: Ubisoft itself now suggests players turn off the internet connection while playing Assassin's Creed: Unity on all systems, saying doing so "it could potentially improve frame-rate". We decided to put it to the test, capturing a few problematic missions with our PS4 online, then comparing it to our existing offline captures.

    We've now tested single-player with the console online and offline, and report no game-changing difference to the overall experience. In some cases, running offline is faster, while in others performance is the same or lower. If there is any improvement, it's very, very small and we're inclined to think this is just down to the variation in engine load between the two sessions. Certainly, there's little evidence to suggest that running offline brings us appreciably closer to the target 30fps.

    UPDATE 13/11/14 2:48pm: An interesting thread has emerged on Reddit, suggesting that taking the PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed Unity offline "fixes the frame-rate issue". We're going to look into whether being online or offline has any impact on performance, and we're also going to test co-op gameplay on both Xbox One and PS4 for the upcoming Face-Off, but in the here and now, we can confirm that both performance analysis tests on this page were carried out with the day one patch installed but with both consoles running offline.

    The game (in its current state) is issuing approximately 50,000 draw calls on the DirectX 11 API. Problem is, DX11 is only equipped to handle ~10,000 peak draw calls. What happens after that is a severe bottleneck with most draw calls culled or incorrectly rendered, resulting in texture/NPCs popping all over the place. On the other hand, consoles have to-the-metal access and almost non-existent API Overhead but significantly underpowered hardware which is not able to cope with the stress of the multitude of polygons. Simply put, its a very very bad port for the PC Platform and an unoptimized (some would even go as far as saying, unfinished) title on the consoles.
