Guerrilla sostiene che i 60 FPS non sono un requisito necessario.

    :asd: iniziamo a ritrattare...
Strano credevo che quella super belva spammata da edge riuscisse a matnenere i 60fps di default :lalala:

In sta next gen siamo proprio "nelle mani di santa Rita" :rotfl:

    Forza Motorsport 5 Hands-on Preview

I attended the first day of Eurogamer Expo 2013 today, and had a chance to get hands-on with Forza Motorsport 5. Here’s my opinionated preview on it.

Forza Motorsport 5 was the the second chance I had to get my hands on the Xbox One controller, and it’s impossible to speak about Forza without complimenting the way it uses the controller. The haptic feedback rumble in the left trigger as you brake, and the right trigger as you accelerate or change gears is exhilarating. Don’t worry, it’s not going to vibrate out of your hands mid-race, but it’s noticeable there. In my opinion, it improves the feel of driving your car around the track.

Equally, I have nothing but praise for the visuals. From the lens flares and the sun reflecting off the track, to the smooth curves of the cars and the intricate details of any damage; everything in Forza Motorsport 5 looked stunning. You’d expect that from it, as it runs natively at 1080p, and 60fps, but it’s truly something else to experience it first hand.

The driving feels very realistic and there are a host of options in game, as with previous Forzas, that let you make it as difficult as you want. This realism is a bit too much for me though. Forza 5 is not very forgiving, and it definitely for someone that plays a lot of driving games, or thoroughly enjoys driving simulators.

I personally prefer my driving experiences to be less serious, and less realistic in the way of being forgiving if you make mistakes round corners or avoiding other cars. This certainly doesn’t mean that Forza Motorsport 5 is a bad game, it’s just not the game for me, and probably isn’t for you unless you like your driving to be more like simulators that arcade racers. As previously stated by Turn 10 though, Forza 5 is not a hardcore simulator, and isn’t trying to be.*In all honesty though, Forza 5 isn’t the most serious driving game out there, and it’s not trying to be either.*However, if Forza isn’t for you, then maybe my preview of *Need for Speed: Rivals will suit you better.

Regardless of preference, it looks like Forza 5 will be a stunning game that will show what the Xbox One has to offer early in the console’s life. It is a launch day title for the Xbox One which releases on September 22nd in 13 markets.

Microsoft unveils its answer to Gaikai, streams Halo 4 from the cloud
Manufacturer tests out service on a Windows Phone and PC

Microsoft is, as suggested, working on a game streaming service akin to Gaikai and OnLive, according to insiders close to The Verge. It's very much a work in progress, according to the report, and is being designed principally to stream games to Windows devices, but Xbox One compatibility seems all but inevitable, given the PS4's movements in this area.

There's something in the way of corroborating evidence. Earlier this month, Microsoft's senior director Albert Penello revealed that the Xbox One's much-touted cloud support could "absolutely" sustain game streaming.

"There are so many things that the servers can do," he said. "Using our Azure cloud servers, sometimes it's things like voice processing. It could be more complicated things like rendering full games like a Gaikai and delivering it to the box. We just have to figure out how, over time, how much does that cost to deliver, how good is the experience."

According to the Verge's contacts, the manufacturer aired an unbranded "concept service" at an internal meeting yesterday, running Halo 4 on a Lumia 520 Windows Phone and a "low-end hybrid PC", the former hooked up to an Xbox controller via an accessory. Microsoft has reduced latency on the Lumia to a tidy 45 milliseconds, apparently.
All sounds good to me. I'll give the PRs a shout, just in case (snigger) anybody's willing to comment on rumour and speculation.

Xbox One Controller’s Impulse Triggers Explained in Video by Forza’s Dan Greenawalt and Major Nelson

The controller coming with the Xbox One will have rumble in the triggers, defined “Impulse Triggers” (because Microsoft likes to give cool names to things, besides the Xbox One itself, of course), but what do they entail?
Microsoft just released a new video starring Forza Motorsport 5 Creative Director Dan Greenawalt and Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb as they explain just that.
The chat goes in depth in explaining how the Forza Motorsport team is going to “train” you to be a little less “digital” and more “analog” through the rumble in the triggers. Basically that meansgiving gentler inputs to your car, as the triggers will give you feedback on whether your tires are within or beyond their grip threshold and on the locking of the wheels while breaking.
Besides all the marketing talk, as someone that dabbles quite a lot with racing sims, I can tell you that this isn’t such a marginal innovation: the best racing wheels don’t just have rumble motors in their bodies, but they also have them in the rim to give you exactly this kind of feedback. While a good wheel will always be the best option for dedicated racing gamers, this should definitely help those that don’t have one in improving the quality of their driving.

...."Battlefield 4 - Playing on Xbox one
This was my tweet as i joined the line to play the game 'Wow first eyes on of battlefield 4 on xbox one. Silky smooth and the graphics are gorgeous'. I was seriously surprised by first it was running on xbox one (i expected pc) and second how polished it looked.
As i was queueing the power went out in the battlefield 4 section and although this delayed my play session it did give a chance to get the see some of the xbox one UI and prove it was actually running on xbox one hardware :).
There where three modes being played in 32 player configurations i got to play essentially a capture a flag variant where you have to pick up a bomb and take it to a location.
This was my tweet afterwards 'Hands on with battlefield 4 was great'. After playing this i dont think i can bring myself to play the xbox 360 version i think i will wait for the xbox one launch.
