Riporto un mio post del foru di WiiNewz di qualche tempo fa:
Citazione:
Once for all: forget about the 4.37, and look for the exact filesizes in bytes. Discs are made up of several sectors, each of which is 2048 bytes, so:
- GameCube discs have 712880 sectors, so GC dumps should be 712880 * 2048 = 1459978240 bytes in size.
- Wii single-layer discs have 2294912 sectors, hence their dumps are 4699979776 bytes long.
- Wii dual-layer discs have 4155840 sectors, and they amount to 8511160320 bytes.
These - and only these - are the correct sizes. Then GC ISOs can be shrunk, making them smaller while keeping them playable. Wii ISOs can not be shrunk yet, but they can be "scrubbed" (through WiiScrubber), which alters all the unused bytes in the ISO so that they can be better compressed, but the filesizes remain the same for the uncompressed ISOs.

Rawdump dumpa solo parzialmente.
