Citazione:
PSP Application Key Protector 0.1
--PURPOSE:
This application was written so a File Manager could be kept in a non-executable
area of the memory stick and launced externally using a 4-digit pass key.
This version is hard coded to load the great file manager File Assistant++
from "ms0:/FileAs_________________________1/EBOOT.PBP"
--INSTALL:
Copy the contents of the 1.5 folder to your /psp/game folder on your memory stick.
I havn't tried this with a 1.0 firmware but it should work as well (need to convert eboot)
After installing the Application Key Protector 0.1 you need to install the file manager
Download it at your local PSP site or use this link
http://www.easy-monkey.co.uk/FileAssistant-2005-08-31.rar
After downloading it, - DO NOT INSTALL IT - to the /psp/game folder
Instead, copy the
FileAs_________________________1 and then FileAs~1%
folders out of the RAR to the ROOT folder of your memory stick in that order.
The protection key is a 4 digit number stored in "key.txt" in the Key Protector's folder.
The default key is '1234'
--KNOWN BUGS:
If you try to use the Home Key to exit, it will freeze and power down the PSP after a few seconds.
It doesn't harm the PSP in any way, just anoying.
I'm sure there are others, this version was just a quick implementation.
