Custom Firmware All-In-One Module v0.01 For PSP 1.5 Firmware
Written and Compiled by Zettablade
This is my attempt at making a useful module for the 1.50 XMB.
Features:
-Takes screenshots with the note button
-Auto USB (just plug it in and it connects automatically)
-Overs clocks the CPU to 333/333/166 for speed
In the next version I want to get the file smaller, to increase load times. I also want to make it take up less CPU, increase the XMB's speed even more.
Bugs:
The if you go into the USB under system, then the auto USB will stop working until you do a full restart.
Requirments:
-A PSP
-A USB cable
-Ver 1.50 firmware only!(for now)
Instuctions:
1. If you havn't already, use Dark_AleX's custom firmware flasher, because it's what this was tested on.
2. Copy the "Module" folder to the root of your mem stick.
3. in PSP/SYSTEM open config.txt and edit these lines:
#loadmodule0 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule1 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule2 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule3 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule4 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule5 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule6 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule7 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule8 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule9 = "blahblah"
to look something like this:
loadmodule0 = "ms0:/Module/AIOMod.prx"
#loadmodule1 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule2 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule3 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule4 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule5 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule6 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule7 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule8 = "blahblah"
#loadmodule9 = "blahblah"
4. Hold the power switch until the PSP is completely turned off, then turn it back on.
5. If you did everything right, you should now be able to take screenshots, have autoUSB, and the XMB should run faster.
NOTE: A note on the overclocking - When you load up an EBOOT, the PSP kinda soft resets, unloading the vsh, and any modules loaded with it. Meaning that even once you exit the PSP, over clocking, along with the rest of the module. It's really there so you can load up stuff from the vsh faster, and take screen shots faster... and connect to the USB faster... and transfer files faster. Really, it's an awsome feature.
